About

I am a video editor and producer. I have been awarded a 2020 Sports Emmy for my work on MLB Tonight. For the past few years I have been editing multiple streams of ‘live game’ video for the MLB Network and the NHL Network.

I am a visual creative with the discipline and commitment to find solutions to challenges on the road to excellence. My work has given me the understanding and experience of knowing what it takes to be a responsible member of a creative team working with the pressure of a network production deadline.

Currently living in Jersey City, New Jersey, originally from Rockaway Beach, New York, schooled at Brooklyn College.

Aaron Boone Walkoff Retro

With the Yankees being managed by Aaron Boone in the 2019 Playoffs, I pitched this piece as a retrospective look back at a defining moment in both Aaron Boone’s playing career and Yankee history. When Aaron Boone walked the Red Sox off in 2003. I was able to use lo res footage I found deep in the archives of the MLB Network. Combining interviews as well as game action I created this montage that aired digitally on mlb.com to commemorate that historic moment. I do not own the rights to the music, sound or video.

BBWWAA Cy Young Teaser

Following the MLB season I was assigned to work on the recap shows. For the Cy Young Award show I was tasked with creating a Teaser Montage to lead off the network show. It was also posted to Facebook and other Social Media platforms to promote the Cy Young Award show on the MLB Network. I was given a commercial track to use. The piece was produced and edited by me, graphics and visual effects created by MLB Network Online Edit. I do not own any of the rights to the music, sound or video in this Montage.

This is a rough cut of a project that I did for a friend. He had hours of GoPro footage of epic battles he took place in and I am cutting him a summary of those games in my free time. This was something that I produced and cut for him as a mock up of something that could be done with his footage.

2018 NLCS MLB Network Teaser

During the 2018 NLCS I was asked to produce themed pieces billed as "Historical Mashups" for the MLB Network. The videos were presented on Social Media to promote an upcoming series. Content included classic playoff moments and general ‘old school’ footage from teams playing in the series. I chose the APM track, did the archival research, and edited content available from the MLB Networks assets to produce and edit this 2018 NLCS MLB Network Teaser piece. Graphics and color were all done by MLB Network Online Edit.

Following the 2018 NHL season, I was working on recap shows for the NHL Network. I was asked to produce and edit a piece to hype the two players vying to be picked number 1 in the NHL, Sidney Crosby and Conor McDavid. I was given liberty to research and use career footage, sound clips and APM music tracks. This piece aired on NHL Network shows and social media channels. I do not own any of the rights to the music, sound and video contained in this Montage.

Gerit Cole Retrospective

Gerit Cole is a top tier MLB pitcher who had some ups and downs when he played in Pittsburgh at the beginning of his career. He was traded to the Houston Astros and went on a legendary tear. After a few seasons with the Astros he became a free agent and signed with the Yankees. I pitched, produced and edited this piece as a retrospective of his career before he joined the Yankees. This piece aired on the MLB Network and appeared with several articles on MLB.COM discussing Gerit Cole and his career.

2019 Best of the Stanley Cup Conference Finals

Before the first game of the 2019 Stanley Cup Conference Finals I was assigned an ‘Images of the Conference Finals’ piece to produce for the NHL Network. Essentially a full recap using sound and video from the finals telling the story of how two teams emerged to face each other in the Stanley Cup Finals. The only instructions for this piece was the music to use, and the length had to be around 3 minutes. This aired before the last game of the Finals was shown on the NHL Network. The piece was edited and fully produced by me. Graphics, look and transitions done by NHL Network Online Edit.
